An Unforgettable Collaboration with Sinfonia Weddings in Forlì, Italy
At Julia Fuller Weddings, we love destination weddings for the unique cultural experiences and connections they bring. Recently, we had the pleasure of collaborating with the talented Sinfonia Weddings to coordinate a beautiful outdoor wedding in Forlì, Italy, at the charming Tenuta Bagni dé Consoli. This villa is surrounded by a stunning variety of landscapes, offering several beautiful areas perfect for different parts of the celebration. From the ceremony to cocktail hour, cake cutting, dinner, and dancing, each space provides a unique atmosphere to enhance every moment of the day. One of the unique aspects of this wedding was the fusion of American and Italian elements. The couple was American, which allowed us to connect on a personal level while also experiencing the Italian wedding traditions first-hand. Their guests traveled from all corners of the U.S. to join them on their special day. Hosting the wedding at this villa combined both American and Italian cultures, creating a perfect blend of traditions and heartfelt moments.
The villa interior is filled with beautiful antique furniture and luxurious details, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. There are spacious suites and rooms with large windows that look out over breathtaking views of the countryside. It’s the perfect setting for a romantic intimate celebration. The villa typically offers accommodation for around 20-30 people. The exact number can vary. It also features two pools, one inside and one outside.
The ceremony space at Tenuta de Bagni was located just steps away from the villa, tucked away up a set of steps and past a beautiful fountain. After the ceremony, guests were invited to enjoy champagne by the fountain before moving into the next part of the celebration. Beyond the fountain, the space opens up to a beautifully landscaped private area, surrounded by large trees and lush greenery. This intimate setting was perfect for the ceremony, providing a serene and shaded atmosphere. With ample space for the 60 guests, the natural surroundings made for a breathtaking backdrop, and the trees offered plenty of shade, ensuring everyone was comfortable throughout the ceremony.
Cocktail hour was just steps away from the ceremony. Guests made their way down a set of stairs that led to an incredible view of the pool, surrounded by the beauty of the Italian countryside. Cocktail tables were elegantly arranged around the pool, where a stunning display of appetizers was laid out for guests to enjoy. Soft music played in the background, while a well-stocked bar provided a variety of drinks to complement the stunning views and relaxed ambiance.
After cocktail hour, guests were escorted to the dinner area, which offered a breathtaking view of the pool on one side and the picturesque countryside on the other. Above the long, elegant table, seven stunning chandeliers were suspended, casting a warm, soft glow down the entire length of the table. The decor was a perfect blend of American and Italian elements, reflecting the couple’s unique style and heritage. As guests settled in, they were treated to an unforgettable experience, immersing themselves in Italian wedding traditions with a luxurious five-course meal that brought a true taste of Italy to the celebration.
Following dinner, the couple cut their cake in front of beautifully landscaped steps that led to a charming fountain. It was also here that they shared their first dance as newlyweds. As the night continued, the DJ energized the crowd, kicking off an unforgettable dance party around the pool. It was truly a night to remember!
